Usability

As part of our ongoing changes to improve the design and usability of Online Service, several functions will have new screen layouts and improvements to the workflow. The core functions remain unchanged. This release will include changes to the following processes:

• Membership logo application
  
• ENUM logo application
• Welcome email customisation
• Renewal email customisation

Public Register Search Service

As part of our development plan for the PRSS, we are launching the first major release to introduce new functionality.

Last month we launched a beta version running alongside the existing service. This simply replicated existing searches within a new database system and offered significant performance improvements. This PRSS releases will see the implementation of similarity searches. We are also making some changes based on customer feedback to the initial beta launch including:

• Registrant searches: exact search of 2 or more characters (e.g. "na")
• Exact search of special characters in the registrant field (e.g. "/", "-" as used in "N/A" or "n-a")
• CSV export: improved performance to reduce download time
