Nominet's Policy Advisory Body has made far-reaching recommendations to deliver improved policy advice to the Nominet Board.

The proposals for the new policy advisory function put stakeholders at the heart of the policy process and support our commitment to conduct our business for the public benefit. The reform of the policy advisory process should enable Nominet to work with all stakeholders who rely on .uk and give them a voice in policy development.

The Board has welcomed the PAB's proposals and believes that they provide a strong basis for engaging the whole .uk community. The Board thanks the PAB for the important work it has done over the last few months to identify how best to ensure effective policy advice for the .uk domain name space for the future.

We are now inviting all stakeholders to take a few minutes to respond to our consultation and give us your views on the PAB's proposals. You can either complete the online form or email your responses to before the consultation closes on 6 April 2010.

We have now added a presentation that gives further background to and an explanation of the policy advisory process consultation.

If you have any queries about the consultation or the proposals please contact us at .
